What's Wrong With This Picture?

What's Wrong With This Picture?

It is SO TOTALLY FRUSTRATING to be waiting at a bus stop and the bus does not show up as scheduled--especially when the bus is not that frequent.

It's negative experiences like that that make people do whatever they can to buy a car and avoid unreliable buses.

Only truly dedicated transit riders--or those who are too poor to afford a car--stick with the bus.

I have a similar problem with the 90/91 line in La Crescenta. I have to catch the 91 in the part of the route where it splits off from the 90 and goes it alone on a section of Foothill Boulevard, resulting in 45-55 minute waits if the 91 does not show up.

On weekends, this is a big problem when there is no Glendale Beeline service up to Foothill Boulevard. Then, when the 91 does not show up, everyone has to hike down to Montrose Avenue to try and catch the next 90.

And finally, the Straphanger would like to point out that rail lines are much more reliable than bus lines.
